Serving the metro Boston area and the North Shore
I've been teaching music for over 10 years and my teaching experience extends to my private studio, the public and private school classroom, and organizations like the Boston Flute Academy.
I have experience teaching students of various ages and levels, from 6 year old beginners, to high school students preparing for college music school auditions, to adults looking to learn music for their own enjoyment.
As an actively performing musician, arts administrator, and scholar, I strive to foster versatility and adaptability in my students. I expect dedication, responsibility, passion, punctuality, and a willingness to learn a diverse set of skills to make my students more complete musicians. My students should also expect many things from me: excellence and efficiency in my teaching; pedagogically sound scaffolding of skills; and a caring and supportive learning environment.
